 | Day of Community Service Spartanburg Water teamed up with Christmas In Action during a company-wide day of service. They were able to complete two projects for elderly Spartanburg homeowners, one of which included building a wheelchair ramp. Click on the link for more information. |
SILVER HILL UMCJames Williams, a member of Silver Hill United Methodist Church, and a team from Mighty Hands repaired the siding on a home just outside the city limits of Spartanburg. The exterior siding was completely replaced and plywood was hung over an opening in which animals were entering and inhabiting.

Best Buy Community Service Team On Wednesday, June 30, a team from Best Buy of Spartanburg performed emergency repairs on two homes. They built hand rails for an elderly and disabled homeowner to assist in entering and exiting her home. Additionally, they repaired a drafty window, making a home weather tight as the winter months approach. |
